Twisted Nail provided material hauling for ground maintenance work at an electrical substation located outside of Cameron, TX, on the route toward Bryan. The project required fast, high-volume delivery of State Spec Base and Select Fill sourced from 151 Aggregates and True Sand and Gravel. Despite the rural setting and demanding pace, our team maintained efficient operations and consistent communication throughout the duration of the project.
The Cannon Sub project took place over several weeks in August and involved hauling approximately 15,000 tons of material. Delivery quantities varied significantly, with daily orders ranging from 15 to 100 loads. Some days required over 90 loads to be delivered, pushing our logistics team to maintain tight scheduling and route efficiency in an area with limited infrastructure.
Twisted Nail utilized belly dumps for this project to maximize hauling capacity and streamline delivery times. The client’s team was highly organized, keeping trucks moving smoothly and extending site hours when needed to meet deadlines. This collaboration made it possible to complete large-scale delivery volumes in a short timeframe without disruption.
Having worked with this customer since May 2023, this project reflects the strong working relationship and mutual trust built over time. Our ability to adapt to challenging site conditions and deliver reliably in rural areas continues to set us apart on projects of this scale.
